Project Overview

Delaware Valley Paving completed a comprehensive site redevelopment project at Amazon SAT2 in San Marcos, Texas. The project involved extensive demolition, concrete pavement reconstruction, drainage improvements, site utilities, lighting upgrades, landscaping, fencing, and parking lot enhancements. Through detailed project management, traffic control coordination, and quality assurance measures, our team transformed the facility while maintaining a safe and organized construction environment throughout every phase.

Project Management & Site Controls

  • Provided onsite project management and daily quality control oversight.
  • Coordinated tenant communications, traffic control, and site logistics.
  • Maintained daily reporting with photo documentation and 360° HoloBuilder updates.
  • Installed construction entrances, inlet protection, and erosion control measures.

Demolition & Site Preparation

  • Removed existing landscape areas, concrete pavement, curbing, fencing, signage, speed bumps, and site lighting.
  • Removed and replaced existing curb inlets.
  • Performed tree removal and site clearing operations.
  • Prepared the site for reconstruction and utility improvements.

Concrete Improvements

  • Installed over 77,000 SF of reinforced concrete pavement.
  • Constructed more than 7,700 LF of new concrete curb and gutter.
  • Rebuilt parking and circulation areas to support long-term facility operations.

Parking Lot Site Enhancements

  • Installed nearly 200 concrete wheel stops.
  • Installed new concrete-filled steel bollards for building and pedestrian protection.
  • Completed final pavement markings and line striping.

Utilities & Electrical

  • Removed existing light poles and infrastructure.
  • Installed new underground conduit throughout the site.
  • Installed new LED site lighting and pole foundations to improve visibility and safety.

Landscaping & Irrigation

  • Installed over 64,000 SF of sod.
  • Planted more than 1,000 shrubs and 80+ trees.
  • Installed a new landscape irrigation system to support long-term site maintenance.

Security Perimeter Improvements

  • Installed over 1,700 LF of new chain-link fencing.
  • Added new pedestrian and vehicle access gates to enhance site security.
